5. Internal Conflict In Alexandria

After the massive losses from the herd, Rick starts to wonder if safety in number€™s isn€™t all it€™s cracked up to be. Driven by the destruction under his watch, he thinks that everyone is better off in the smaller groups they began with, and he€™s not the only one to feel this way.

Nicholas (the guy who wouldn€™t keep the revolving door closed) seemingly jealous of Rick, calls into question his leadership, thinking they could make do without him. He conspires with a few other residents in a plot to kill Rick, which falls apart when Glenn hears them, leading to a heated, guns-draw confrontation.

In Rick€™s resolution of this conflict without violence, he cements himself as a leader once and for all with the residents of Alexandria, earning the respect of even his most bitter enemies, and uniting Alexandria for good right before they face their biggest challenge yet...
