The Walking Dead: 10 Deaths You Didn't Actually See Happen
4. Morales
Morales may have appeared in just four episodes of Season One, but he did seem to be a worthwhile character that could hold his own, even in the early days of the apocalypse. He kept a cool head in Guts despite the teams hopeless circumstances, and was one of the first people to welcome Rick into the group, even assuring him that he shouldnt feel bad about leaving Merle up on the roof of a building, and warning him about Daryl just in case. While his death is never implied, after Morales took his family and decided to look for safety in Alabama, it is assumed at this point that without Rick by his side, Morales, his wife and children likely suffered at the hands of either walkers or other survivors. With Ricks gang having to fend off Woodbury, the Claimers, the Termites, the Wolves among others, theres no guessing what horrors faced this man in his efforts to protect his family. It would be interesting to see Morales return to the show, and prove us wrong, as this badass character who went to great length to keep his family alive, although the mystery is probably better off preserved. Plus, if Morales is alive, then showing back up and joining the gang at Alexandria would probably prove more troublesome for him than anything else, since Rick and Carl are pretty much the only characters safe at any given moment.
