Judging by some of the fan reactions to certain characters, the show could probably be re-titled Everybody Hates Carl and the majority would approve. Sure Carl has got himself up to some annoying antics, but remember he's just a child in the middle of a zombie-infested world, with a mother who never thought to keep an eye on her precious boy, before her death. He's at a painful age where he remembers the joy of the old world, but will never get to live in it. Give the kid a break. He's also left to deal with Rick during his meltdowns, and while he's clinging to a slice of rebellion, Carl is growing and learning to become a hero in times when his dad can't be.
