5. Breaking Up The Fight At Hilltop

Jesus proved himself to be a man of mystery when he showed up in Alexandria and promised everyone that their world was about to get a whole lot bigger. Like the gent that he was, he made great on his promise, and introduced our survivors to Hilltop in Season 6 episode, Knots Untie.

In spite of his optimism, it wasn't all plain sailing, as word of the mysterious Negan began spreading like wildfire. Hilltop man Ethan showed up during Rick's visit to the settlement, and revealed that Negan had taken one of their men hostage, and the only way he'd get him back is if he were to deliver a message. He stabbed Gregory, which prompted Rick and the other Alexandrians to intervene and save the day.

Rick killed the aggressor, Ethan, which didn't go down to well with some of the Hilltop dwellers. Jesus intervened, doing his best Chris Pratt impression, only it wasn't raptors he was trying to calm down, but rather the people of Hilltop, who didn't quite know what to make of the new arrivals. Like always, Jesus showed initiative, and demonstrated those brilliant leadership skills of his.
