The Walking Dead:10 Important Things To Remember Before Season 8

3. Carol Has Rejoined The Group

Carol wanted to live out the rest of her days in solitude, away from the horrors and violence she was burdened with. She had taken shelter in a cosy cottage down the road from The Kingdom, and was happy fending for herself while the world around her burned.

She had no interest in staying inside the Kingdom walls and, although Morgan and Ezekiel did find excuses to occasionally pop by, she did not lay a welcome mat out for visitors.

That was until Morgan’s revelation that Negan had killed Glenn and Abraham, which prompted Carol to stride through the gates of The Kingdom and demand they join the fight. She then battled alongside Ezekiel and her old friends at Alexandria in the season finale.

Interestingly in the season eight trailer, Carol is seen wearing the red armband of The Kingdom (Daryl is wearing white, which we can safely assume is Alexandria). So, while reintegrating herself to the group, she has decided not to return to her old Alexandria home. Could this be because there is romance blossoming between her and The King?
