7. Not Another Lori

Rick's previous love interest was a total disaster, and now that there appears to be another on the horizon, it's important that the show doesn't make the same mistakes again. Lori had almost no redeeming features and it was a constant struggle figuring out why Rick was with her. She had cheated on him with his best friend (sort of), effectively caused him to murder his pal and spent most of her time bossing everybody around while contributing nothing to the group. Jessie Anderson seems an altogether more sympathetic character, which is a start, but it would be nice if she had some qualities that endeared her to Rick other than being one of the last women left on Earth. In the comics she performs a very important function, and while it's difficult to say in which direction the show will take her, let's at least hope it's better done than the Lori character.
