The Walking Dead: 10 Mistakes That Must Be Learnt From In Season 6

8. Not Another Prison Scenario

When the audience was introduced to the prison for the first time, they were naturally excited. The farm story-line had dragged on for too long, and an entire season on the road might have dragged too. The prison came at just the right time and represented a mysterious haven that expanded the possibilities of the show. Instead the prison seemed to cut off possibilities, with the characters increasingly less mobile and more reliant on the prison walls for protection. Rather than one major story-line running through the show, a number of smaller, safer plots showed up, that were never really threatening enough to demand fans' entire attention - this ranged from the introduction to the prison inmates, to the arrival of Tyreese and his crew. The challenge in Season 6 will be to wring some drama out of the show in an environment which is, ostensibly, safe from Walker attacks.
