The Walking Dead: 10 Mistakes That Must Be Learnt From In Season 6

4. Not Killing Major Characters

A major criticism of the show, mentioned, in part, in points 9 and 10, is that secondary characters have a very short shelf-life on The Walking Dead. Major characters seem to have an infinite number of lives, and save the odd amputation, get through from season to season relatively unharmed. Now, it would be difficult to kill off the whole cast of a TV program, that's obvious, but in this universe, things can't continue this way forever. It would be nice to at least see some major conflict between the characters. Obviously one theme of the show has been the togetherness of the group, but what if they were broken apart? Not geographically or by happenstance, but because they became real enemies. More on this in the final point.
