The Walking Dead: 10 Most Pointless Characters

4. T-Dog

The Walking Dead
AMC

A character so forgettable that the group he belonged to forgot him quicker than the fans did.

T-Dog was a character that didn't really have much to do, and it could be argued that it was early in the show's run, so he jostled for a niche with Daryl (which he lost) as the badass survivor with a good heart.

His death was offscreen, but it was noble and brutal, as he sacrificed himself to save Carol by pinning two Walkers to the wall with his body, allowing them to devour him. But even this act was overshadowed by Lori's death.

It's a miracle he lasted into the third season, but he was another likeable character who wasn't utilised well in the slightest.

It's a shame, because the actor was great, and there was a lot of goodwill for the character in the fandom at the time. Sadly, instead of building on that, the show killed him off and barely mentioned him afterwards.
