One of the most insane storylines has been Carol's continued mental torture of little Sam. Yes, he needed to be silenced. Yes, he's the most annoying child since his older brother Ron. Yes, he's got the worst haircut of anyone since...his older brother Ron. But is that enough justification for Carol's sustained control over him? Carol is an amazing character, with a 100% composed mind when it comes to making enormous decisions. Sam only wanted a few fresh cookies, but left Carol's place with an ominous threat that he'd wake up tied to a tree being swarmed by hungry walkers if he spoke about her taking guns from the armoury. It all escalated very quickly, and came as a total surprise to the audience, let alone Sam.
