The Walking Dead: 10 Reasons It's The Most Annoying Show On TV

6. Group Discussions

The Walking Dead The survivors love to talk through their problems. And then talk about them some more. Hershel's line after they found out about the virus ("We'll have to call another meeting later...") could pretty much serve as the show's tagline. Who knew the apocalypse would be so bureaucratic? Season two, again, was pretty awful in this regard. The characters had so many discussions about the issues inherent to that season, like whether Hershel was going to let them stay on the farm. They also wasted a shocking amount of time deciding what to do with that guy with the injured leg they had captured. Last season, the first showdown between the Governor and Rick came in the form of an episode-long discussion. Then the group had a meeting to discuss the Governor's offer - after it was clear that Rick knew it was bogus! What was the point of it then? Wouldn't that time have been better spent planning how to defend against the Governor and Woodbury? Just one more strike against Rick as leader of the gang, then.
