The Walking Dead: 10 Reasons Why Season 6 Will Be The Best Yet
8. Season 5 Was A Return To Top Form
Most series start well, peak after just a few years, then decline steadily until they're axed, but in my opinion, TWD hasn't even reached its maximum potential yet. I also believe that each season has overseen an improvement on the last, barring a Season 4 blip. The fourth run of the show saw the characters embark on the road to Terminus, and while it was cool for a time knowing they had an aim, endlessly trudging along train tracks became stale. It was the same woodland, the same tracks, the same issues, the same aimless meandering. That was a low point for the show, but Season 5 started with a bang and continued at a murderous pace, before leading to a sensational finish. Even Beth's piece in the hospital was something new, refreshing and a welcome change of scenery.
