7. They're Filling Out The Comics

Each half-season of TWD follows a different theme. The second half of Season 6 will more or less follow the comic book storylines, but there are some events which took place that the characters frequently refer to in the comic books, despite the story not being shown actually happening. Scott Gimple confirmed that these events will form a mostly-original first half of Season 6. That's exciting to say the least. It shows the willingness to explore Robert Kirkman's comic world with even more depth, with the show's creators adding their own twist, while also adhering to the events in the comic. It's a perfect balance, and if it all pays off, it could be a fantastic season.
