5. There's A Lot Of Characters (To Kill Off)

One of the finest aspects of the Season 5 finale was that it achieved a sensational climax to the story without spilling any series regulars' blood. The easy option would've been to roll a dice with the characters' faces on and come up with an inventive way to end them as a finale, but it's not always necessary to kill for the sake of killing. That's not to say characters shouldn't die. Of course they should, but TWD kept breath in the lungs of the old faithful to supply the writers plenty of fodder for Season 6. There are some fringe characters who need to prove they're more than just a potential walking meal. A cull looks a likely way to kick off Season 6, and that would be an explosive way to get back into the groove.
