The Walking Dead: 10 Reasons Why Season 6 Will Be The Best Yet
6. People Are Accepting That Rick Is Right
When Pete stumbled into the group meeting, drunkenly wielding Michonne's katana, nothing good was going to come out of the situation. Or so it would seem. Pete slit Reg's throat, and while that was extremely distressing to watch, Rick's attitude gained credibility. Nobody, not even Pete's abused wife Jessie, made a move to stop Rick. They didn't voice discontent, they didn't protest, they didn't prevent it from happening as Rick put a bullet through Pete. Instead there seemed to be a sombre air of acceptance, acknowledging that was how the new world worked. As previously mentioned, the promotional material suggests an immense divide in the group, but I'm not buying it. More people are taking notice of Rick and that can only mean great things will happen.
