The Walking Dead: 10 Romances We Could Have Done Without

More of a bromance than a romance but still just as excruciatingly annoying.

The main reason why this is so irritating is that Daryl is so much better than Rick yet for some reason he always ends up as the Robin to Rick's almighty Batman. To make things even worse, Rick always seems to get the girls and is forever fending off female attention or in some cases lapping it up.

In contrast, Daryl has yet to have any real or truthful love interests even though he is the biggest catch in the whole damn thing. Yes, we know it doesn't keep in line with his lone-wolf image and silent approach but surely let him have a little something from time to time?

Furthermore, everybody knows that the two wouldn't be friends in the real world. The writers might like to think that this is the point of their friendship but opposites don't have to be BFFs, even in a zombie apocalypse.

Thankfully, now that Rick is gone, Daryl might be able to finally step into the limelight and even have a sidekick of his own. Come on writers, give Daryl the storyline that he deserves.
