5. A Flashback Episode

An entire episode dedicated to flashbacks could be a great breather from what is sure to be an intense season. With the group in Alexandria, they've got more time to think, and less cause to worry about whether they'll survive the day, so an episode reminiscing about their former lives could be interesting. The flashbacks could be from a key moment beforehand, or it could answer the questions of: "Where were you when the zombie apocalypse began?" Michonne has already had a dream/flashback sequence which was masterfully executed, and while the spinoff show Fear The Walking Dead will no doubt explore L.A. at the time of the outbreak, it would be nice to see Rick and the group in their original lives.
