The Walking Dead: 10 Things We Have To See In The Final Season

5. The Return Of Leah And Connie

The Walking Dead
AMC

Season ten's surprise episodes came with the biggest development The Walking Dead has thrown at audiences in a long, long time. The episode Find Me focussed on Daryl during his days hunting for some sign of Rick. It's pretty simple stuff, incredibly dramatic and wonderfully acted by Norman Reedus, but was elevated to greatness by the introduction of Daryl's first real love interest, Leah.

According to the episode, Daryl and Leah formed a relationship during his time away from the group. She was a lot like the bowman in that she was a loner who lost her family and had no desire to leave her isolated existence. Plus, she was the original owner of Dog, which is just awesome.

We didn't get to see a lot of Leah, and her current fate isn't known. There are theories abound about whether she's dead or simply run off because Daryl was too torn between his life with her and his life with his old group. But given her importance to his story, we just have too see her in the final season.

On a more optimistic note, we know that Connie is alive following her near-death experience in the exploding cave, and the sooner they can have her reunite with Kelly and Daryl, the happier the fandom will be.
