The Walking Dead: 10 Things We Have To See In The Final Season
4. A Bigger Role For Judith Grimes
Since the mid-season finale of season eight, the Grimes family has lost Carl, Rick and Michonne, and even though the latter two are still alive, the voids left by their absence has been a major one. All that's left now is Judith and R.J, who has been given little time to shine simply because he's too young for a major role.
Judith, however, has really come into her own since the epic season nine time-skip. She's now around the same age Carl was in the show's debut season, and has shown great strength in the face of her numerous loses.
In the last half of season ten, though, she felt noticeably side-lined, despite being Rick and Michonne's last major link to the series. Given the fact that the show was always about Rick and his family, and that Carl, in the comics, plays a major role in the series' final stretch, it seems about time Judith was given her due and was allowed to take over from Carl's arc.
Besides, Cailey Fleming is clearly a great young actress, and the more time she gets to strut her stuff, the better off the show will be.
