The Walking Dead: 10 Things We Want To See In The Next 8 Episodes

8. Prison Vs. Woodbury

url-26 We have already seen a showdown of sorts between Ricks prison group and Woodbury in the midseason finale. But I'm talking about on a much larger scale, like in the comic. In the comics, after weeks of waiting for the Prison group to let their guard down after escaping from Woodbury, The Governor launches a full attack on the prison with practically a small army and a tank, it's a huge battle involving a lot of shooting, lots of death, a lot of zombies that cause trouble for the Woodbury attackers and the eventual destruction of the prison. Now while I doubt they would do something like this in this seasons finale, I doubt it. As previously the showrunner, Glen Mazzara, has said they would like to do season three and four in the prison, however I do have an idea of how they could do this on a smaller scale to close out this season. Picture it the season three finale, The Governor leads a large group of his men to the gates of the prison and demands to be let in as they are clearly outnumbered, Rick of course refuses and a gun fight ensues. Both sides taking casualties, the Governor's men trying to get through the fence but being stopped by sniper fire from the towers. But then the zombies surrounding the fence start to surround the Woodbury fighters, The Governor would realise being attacked on two sides that he would need to retreat and regroup. So they get the hell out of there and maybe The Governor gives us a teaser for the next season by saying something like "We would need a tank to get in there" Now this is just my idea of how they could do a smaller version of the battle from the comics, while still maybe saving a larger battle for the end of the fourth season.
