The Walking Dead: 11 Major Moments From The Comics We Still Need To See

3. The Garden Fence Of Decapitated Heads

Although The Whisperers are a visually intimidating threat, creepily clad in the skin of walkers, the full extent of their power wasn't revealed in the comic until Rick and his team foolishly underestimated their abilities.

Not heeding their warning to stay out of their territory, The Whisperers proved that they stick to their threats by sneaking into Alexandria during a festival and kidnapping anyone they could get their hands on.

Intending to send a message to Rick and his group, the next time these characters appeared in the book, their heads were on spikes.

Found on the makeshift perimeter between the two neighbouring communities, the likes of Rosita and Ezekiel were the victims of the first Whisperer attack, kicking off a war that would result in even more casualties for Rick's band of survivors.

Being such a shocking moment in the comics, there's no doubt that the scene will make its way to the small screen, and unless anything major happens between now and then, it'll probably be the same victims decorating the gory fence too.
