The days of firing two shots before having to reload are over, as the head of the Greene family tears through a herd of walkers without stopping for a second. Hershel's shotgun is good for 25 rounds before he eventually decides to load another two bullets. This is an example of a mistake that doesn't particularly make a huge difference. Yes, it does scratch off some of the realism, but it still made for a badass scene involving everyone's favourite Grandad. Too many borderline moments like that would spoil the show though.
