The Walking Dead: 12 Best Cult Heroes

4. Glenn

T-Dog The Walking Dead
AMC

What role can a pizza delivery boy play in a post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested world? Turns out a pretty major one. While he wasn’t delivering flesh-topped pizzas to the walkers, Glenn did put his skills to good use in Season 1, as he knew every street and shortcut in Atlanta, proving extremely useful in keeping the group safe. He’s the one who rescued Rick, and took him back to Lori and Carl, after all.

Since then he’s only grown in importance, especially since he began dating and then ‘married’ Maggie, forming one of the best relationships on current TV. He’s an extremely loyal and compassionate person, and that’s never more evident than in his love for Maggie and desire to keep her safe at all costs.

However, it’s not just Maggie he cares deeply for, as he constantly risks his life for the good of the group, whether it’s to get supplies or fight walkers. He retains his loyalty even when being tortured, and through it all he remains a voice of reason and hope. If everyone was like Glenn in The Walking Dead then they might not survive too long, but what time they did have would be much nicer.
