No Sanctuary, the Season 5 premiere is the all-time highest-rated episode of the show according to IMDb, and it's understandable why the fans enjoyed it so much. The incredible tension built up throughout the episode is staggering, and peaks during a scene in the cannibals' slaughterhouse, with the menacing bass tones grumbling over the situation which has Rick, Glenn, Daryl, Bob and other captives on their knees, leaning over a trough, about to be executed. It's arguably the most harrowing scene in The Walking Dead, as the other prisoners are mercilessly slit open with brutal efficiency and speed, showing every detail up close. But the entire episode was riddled with hallmarks of the cannibals' savagery and provided further intense moments, with the group's future in tatters following the false promises of Terminus. Morgan Jones also made a shock, last-ditch appearance, fuelling rumours as to what role he could play going forward.
