The Walking Dead: 7 Characters That Need To Die In Season 5

2. Carl

Carl€™s a tough sell to fans on whether or not he should be killed, because Carl represents the future of society in this post-apocalyptic world. He€™s one of the few characters who only really knows this life and has grown up in it. Carl has forced himself to be cold because that€™s what the world has demanded of him. It€™s an interesting character study. Unfortunately, the character himself is so bad that the study isn€™t even worth it. Carl€™s demeanor changes between reckless/stupid and caring/compassionate so much that it€™s extremely frustrating to want to root for the continuation of humanity. There was the time in Season 2 he was taunting the trapped walker only to get caught and nearly eaten, but he made a turn in Season 3 when he showed enough responsibility to put a bullet in his mother€™s brain before she turned. All points in between, he€™s been thrown all over the place in terms of motivation. However, there is one character who was actually born during the zombie apocalypse who could represent the future of humanity rather than Carl, and that€™s his (half?) sister, Judith. To prolong the series, they could always jump ahead a few years to a teenage Judith who is still around after everybody else is long gone (except Daryl, of course). Probably the toughest part about seeing Carl go is that the hilarious €œCoral€ memes will die as well. Long live Coral!
