The Walking Dead: 8 Characters Who Absolutely Cannot Die In Season 6B
5. Heath
Heath is one of the new Alexandrians introduced in Season 6, but as is too often the case with newbies, we really haven't had a chance to get to know him properly. He went out with Glenn during one episode, and I had high hopes for him as a character, but it never quite happened. He was good in brief moments, but there wasn't all that much of him. I think in general a lot of the Alexandrians could do more, although the likelihood is many will be killed off, but Heath in particular feels like he's got potential. Not only is he an important figure from the comics, but just sticking to the show, Corey Hawkins is a really talented actor, as witnessed by his performance in Straight Outta Compton. He's good enough to be a main player on this show, so hopefully he sticks around and they can really develop him as such. Hawkins has been cast in the lead role of Fox's 24 spin-off, 24: Legacy, and if that takes off then it might mean he ends up biting the dust - or rather, getting bitten himself - but until then, he needs to be on The Walking Dead a whole lot more.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
