2. If So, Does That Mean They'll Kill Him?

If they do decide to end Rick's story in the movies, then does that mean the third one (or the last of however many they decide to make) will have to kill him off?

It's a decision the show looked to be leaning towards itself, before the last-minute swerve, and it's now in the hands of Scott Gimple and co to choose whether that's something they want to do. Unless Andrew Lincoln has a change-of-heart about returning to the show, then it's hard to see how Rick's story could be left open-ended once the movies end, but with so little known about the plot it's also unknown how they could give him the kind of death such an important character deserves.
