The Walking Dead: 8 Huge Questions The Movies Must Answer

1. Will Other TWD Characters Appear?

With the movies likely to cover the six-year span we've seen the series jump over, there's a chance for familiar characters to come back, something the announcement of the movie alluded to. One of those will probably be Heath, while if this is going to end Rick's story, then it might make sense to bring Morgan back into the fold - having him around is not only another major TWD presence, but he was there at the beginning, so it fits for him to be there at the end.

An even bigger question mark, however, exists over the characters still in the show. The likes of Michonne, Carol, and Daryl are still there in the future, so we assume they haven't seen Rick since the bridge and believe him dead. It'd be harder to write them into the movie, but then they'll exist as big question marks within that timeframe.

Maggie isn't there as Lauren Cohan has left too - for now - but that might mean she has a better chance of appearing, as it'd be a means of explaining her absence too, even if it's stretching plausibility to have two main characters disappear to the same mysterious place. Still, this is The Walking Dead universe, so we can probably expect some degree of crossover.
