The Walking Dead: 8 Major Spoilers For The Second Half Of Season 6

5. Jesus Is Coming

The Walking Dead is a very secretive TV show, and set photos have proven to be the bane of AMC's existence in recent years. Yet another major reveal which slipped out about the second half of season six thanks to them is the fact that we'll be meeting the charismatic Paul Monroe, better known as Jesus due to his appearance. His debut in the series now comes at just the right time for Negan's arrival. That's because Jesus (a survivor and resident who lives in a community called the Hilltop Colony) is the one who is used as a way to explain to Rick - and readers - how things work with Negan. He takes a cut of their supplies in return for "protection", and it's ultimately Jesus who becomes one of Rick's closest allies as he supports his decision to go to war with the Saviours in order to bring their reign to an end Since this set photo started doing the rounds, it's been confirmed that Luck alum Tom Payne has been cast in the role, though he looks totally unrecognisable. Amazingly, this picture appeared on social media long before Glenn was seemingly killed off in the first half of the season, yet no one appeared to remember when all that fuss was being made that the character was in the photo standing right there next to Jesus!
