The Walking Dead: 8 Major Spoilers For The Second Half Of Season 6

4. We Won't See Negan Until The Finale

As you're no doubt already well aware, Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been cast as Negan. While the decision to have David Morrissey take on the role of The Governor was an unexpected one which turned out to be pretty damn great (even if much of the material he was working with was terrible), Morgan fits this role perfectly, and the Watchmen star is someone fans of the character are behind 110%. However, while he was cast a couple of months ago and his Saviours were introduced in the midseason finale, don't expect to see Negan show up until the actual finale. That's what a number of reliable outlets are reporting anyway, and despite the fact that waiting eight episodes for him to show up will be tough, the months until season seven after what will probably be only a few minutes of screentime will be even worse! It remains to be seen how long Negan will be sticking around for, especially as he's a villain who could very easily carry the series all the way through season seven and a good way into the eighth, especially now that the show has slowed down the way it tells stories with episodes revolving around individual characters and events happening at the same time in different places. So, don't expect him to pop up in the midseason premiere.
