As I've already mentioned, Negan is expected to only make a very brief appearance in the finale of The Walking Dead, but it's going to be in a scene which is instantly familiar to fans of the comic books. While this has been a popular rumour ever since there was first talk of introducing the villain, it was surprisingly confirmed late last year when some very blurry leaked footage from the set found its way online. That showed Negan using Lucille - his barbed wire covered baseball bat - to deliver a killing blow to one of the show's characters, and laughing about it afterwards. The quality of the video wasn't good enough to make out who it was, but Morgan was sporting a costume which is nearly identical to that of his comic book counterpart, so we're clearly getting a pretty faithful take (even if the swearing is dialled back by AMC a little). After trolling viewers over Glenn's fate, it's hard to imagine that the series will stick so closely to the source material by killing him here, and that's something Gimple seemed to confirm in an interview last year when he said that familiar moments may end up playing out in very different ways when Negan shows up. Regardless, we now know for sure that the season will end will someone feeling the wrath of Lucille... What do you expect to happen when The Walking Dead Season 6 returns? What do you want to happen?
