The Walking Dead: 8 Things "Forget" Got Right (And 2 It Didn't)

4. The Daryl And Aaron Show

Indeed, it's about time The Walking Dead did a bit of spring cleaning of its cast. A common complaint over the past few weeks is that the show's ensemble has gotten a little too unwieldy, to the point that certain characters will disappear for long stretches of episodes, only for them to pop up again just before you've forgotten about them, but long after you've since cared about them. The fifth season has already introduced some great contenders to join the core group going forward: unfortunately, thanks to casting news, it's already been confirmed that Noah's not going to make it past the end of this season, but Aaron and Eric €“ the show's first openly gay characters €“ are a welcome addition to the gang. Aaron was already refreshingly vibrant, well-rounded and well-written in his debut, and those are qualities that shine through again in this episode, as he bumps into Daryl and they go hunting together. It was a fairly light B-plot, but it had some nice character moments for both of them. Including the spaghetti incident.
