The Walking Dead: 8 Things "Forget" Got Right (And 2 It Didn't)

2. The Family

It appears that most of the main cast's loyalties remain with each other, with this episode really hammering home the idea of them as a family. It was Rick who first coined the idea in last week's episode, and it continues this week, as Glen and Maggie readily accept Noah as being a part of this thoroughly untraditional group as he sulks at the fringes of the party. Along with being a sweet scene and a logical idea €“ they're a bunch of people who aren't necessarily friends, wouldn't necessarily hang out in any over circumstance, but have been through so much together they have a bond stronger than friendship €“ that scene also served to show how malleable the group are. Noah is accepted as part of them despite only joining relatively recently. Which again points towards the group continuing to evolve and change, but provides another counterpoint to the way they treat most of the Alexandria population. Less willing to accept them. The writers are doing well at setting up that divide in subtle ways.
