A former Savior who becomes a community leader and confidant of Maggie, Alden went through a decent transformation during his short stay on the show, but he was never given the focus he properly deserved.
Always sort of there, he created intriguing friction in Hilltop during the war, but afterward he became little more than cannon fodder, filling out the supporting cast as someone constantly butting heads with outsiders.
He has some promising moments -- his final farewell, his relationship with Maggie -- but he still leaves the show feeling like someone we never really got to know.
