The Walking Dead: Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

23. Lydia

The Walking Dead
AMC

Appearances: Season 9-11 (33 episodes).

One of the show's late-season additions, Lydia quickly made an impression, her bleak upbringing and villainous mother making her -- despite the stiff competition -- possibly The Walking Dead's most tragic figure.

The greatness of her character though came not from her trauma, compelling as it was, but from how she was able to grow past it, combatting her conflicted emotions to eventually grow into a vital, content part of the Walking Dead family.

From her father/daughter dynamic with Daryl to her easy rapport with Negan and Aaron and her doomed romance with Henry, Lydia is one character we're glad to see got a happy ending, despite the roadblocks in her path.
