The Walking Dead: Every Season 2 Episode Ranked Worst To Best
9. Triggerfinger
Triggerfinger is an important episode often overlooked, since it properly introduces the Survivors' first real antagonistic group threat. After killing two gang members in the previous episode, Rick, Glenn and Hershel are attacked by the rest of their clique and forced to fight the living for the first time.
Whilst the previous episode was all tension and build-up with only a brief burst of violence, Triggerfinger is almost all action, following the outnumbered trio as they do battle with a unforeseen force and work to get themselves back to the farm.
The action side of the episode is where it's at its finest, introducing newcomer Randall as a major complication to the safety of the group, though it's let-down when it periodically returns to the farm to give a repetitive look into the relationship of Shane and Lori, and the PTSD of Beth.
Still, it's strong where it counts, and deserves credit for introducing so many new threats and giving insight into Rick's attempts to adapt to the new world.
