Isolation picks up right where Infected left off, with Tyreese confronting Rick, Daryl and Carol about the death of his girlfriend Karen, which ends in a brutal fight.

With the virus spreading, Daryl, Michonne, Tyreese and Bob then team-up to retrieve some medicine outside the prison, whilst Rick tries to figure out who killed Karen and David, and Hershel works to keep the infected alive.

An incredibly dark episode that causes the group to confront the harsh realities of their latest threat and the secrets those around them are hiding, Isolation offers the first teaser of Terminus, and ends with an absolutely shocking gut-punch when Carol is revealed to be the one who killed Karen.

Not only does this development massively complicate the story moving forward, but it finds Rick in a position of leadership again and shrouds Carol's fate in uncertainty.
