The Walking Dead: Every Season 7 Episode (So Far) - Ranked Worst To Best
7. Go Getters
It took until the fifth episode of the season for viewers to finally catch up with Sasha and Maggie, two of the characters most affected by the events of the premiere, and such a month-long wait was rather frustrating. By this point, fans had had enough time to grieve the loss of Abraham and Glenn on their own, and to see these two grieving so long after the fact ultimately undermined the emotional weight such scenes could've and should've carried closer to the premiere.
That said, it was better late than never, and both Lauren Cohan and Sonequa Martin-Green did a good job with what they were given. Their position at the Hilltop also gave us the chance to catch up with a few faces we hadn't seen since season six, like Jesus and Gregory, built on the fallout of the Savior situation, and gave us some great scenes involving Jesus fighting walkers and Simon manipulating his way through his conversation with the selfish Gregory.
Like Swear, though, this episode could've benefited by having its story told in tandem with the rest - not solely with the Carl/Enid subplot we got - earlier in the season. Also, the fact that fans did have to wait so long to finally get a bit of closure involving Maggie and Sasha is something that simply can't be overlooked when analyzing the episode, keeping it from being one of the better entries of the season.
