As soon as Alpha (Samantha Morton) came on the scene, comic fans were waiting for this moment, but when it came it still managed to pack a punch.
In order to make the communities listen to her demands and understand how big a threat she is, Alpha and her Whisperers killed and beheaded ten characters - including Tara, Enid (Katelyn Nacon), Henry (Matt Lintz) and Tammy Rose (Brett Butler).
It's one of the show's most shocking and haunting scenes, as Daryl, Michonne, Carol, Yumiko and Siddiq find their friends' reanimated heads on spikes, gnashing their teeth and cementing Alpha's place as a brutal and terrifying villain.
