The Walking Dead Season 11 Review - 6 Ups & 2 Downs From "What's Been Lost"

In an attempt to find their people, Carol sets a plan in motion to locate where Pamela's men may be taking them. For that to work, however, she and Daryl must first free Lance from his prison cell and take out anyone who may get in their way.

With guards surrounding the prison where Lance is kept locked up, the two friends show off their stealth and combat skills as they manage to knock out a couple of guards and get Lance out. But as soon as they step foot outside of his cell, they are met with heavy fire from more soldiers that have found them and Daryl stays behind to keep them at bay long enough for Carol and Lance to escape.

Filled with plenty of tension and suspense, his breakout stood out for demonstrating how effective both of these longtime friends are at working together without having to utter a single word. It also beautifully shows how willing they are to have each other's backs which never gets dull to watch, making it one of the series' best friendships that still rings true today.

Everyone may have known that they would have been ok, but it was still a fun prison break scene and a fresh, engaging part of their mission.
