THE WALKING DEAD Season 2 Kicks Off With 90 Minute Episode

Good news zombie fans! AMC have announced that The Walking Dead Season 2 will be kicking off with an extra half hour when it premieres on Sunday 16th October with an extended 90 minute episode. I would also expect, and I doubt I am going to be wrong about this, that it will likely be the best episode of the new season as it's one of the last that was creatively overseen by Frank Darabont before he was fired early into production, just post the Comic Con presentation. Glen Mazzara (Starz, Crash) replaced him as showrunner and will oversee the rest of the season. The second season will open straight after the events of the first with our characters fleeing from the Center for Disease Control and we will see it in less than two months!
