3. Aiden And Noah's Deaths

Of all the deaths in The Walking Dead's history, I think two of the most horrific came within minutes of each other during Episode 14 of Season 5. First, Deanna's annoying son Aiden got himself impaled on a board of twisted metal, effectively serving himself up to a hoarde of walkers. The camera doesn't draw away, and instead lingers on a long, close-up scene of his inside being ripped out and feasted upon... while he's still alive. But without a doubt one of the most-heartbreaking deaths of the whole show comes during the exquisitely set up 'revolving door' scene. It's an impossibly tough situation, but Nicholas' cowardly escape sees Noah get dragged away, thrown against the glass window and have an entire side of his face torn off while Glenn looks on in horror. He was an innocent, well-meaning character, given a truly brutal ending.
