The Walking Dead Season 5 Finale: 10 Things That Should Happen
5. Gabriel Will Die
Father Gabriel is a troubled man, and let's face it, he's been nothing more than a pathetic burden to the main group since they were brought into his cowardly hideout in the church. Of course every person would react to zombies taking over the Earth in a different way; not every person would suddenly turn into action man if confronted with the closest thing to an apocalypse. But his snivelling rant to Deanna about Rick's group - without whom he'd be a walker - was almost like signing a death warrant. The finale trailer shows Gabriel wearing a white top, a change from his usual outfit. Is he finally finding some form of peace? Was his stark warning about Rick the path to redemption following his past trauma at the church? He, like virtually everybody else, is in the 'disposable' category, and if any of the group overhears his whisperings, he's a dead man.
