The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Questions We’re Asking After ‘The Next World'

9. When Will Carl's Eye Be Addressed?

Ahead of all the deaths, the biggest moment of the mid-season premiere was the bullet to Carl's face. Let me repeat that fact for you. Carl Grimes took a bullet to the face. A gunshot to the eye. First of all, he should surely be dead, but The Walking Dead should be given a little room to slightly stretch physical possibilities. But while he survived, he should've been in a far more critical condition than the state we saw him in during Episode 10. He was strolling around as if nothing had happened. What's with that? There was no real mention of Carl's eye, the implications of the situation, or what lies beneath the patch. Carl's eye will no doubt come into the story, but when? And why wasn't it addressed immediately?
