4. Where Did Paul Come From?

One of the most exciting aspects of the episode was the arrival of Paul. He's a comic book character with the nickname 'Jesus' so fans will probably flick between the two names until they know him better. But who is he? Where did he come from? Why was he roaming the roads? How can he help the group? Will he help the group? Now, fans of the comic books will know all about his character, but I've purposefully avoided reading the source material in order to watch the show through fresh eyes. I have no idea what will come of Paul, but its safe to assume that he could be a major player and it seems as though he could be an important ally for Rick. He seems like a link to the next phase of the overall story. A possible bridge towards Negan? Maybe, just maybe.
