The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Things Episode 5 Got Right

10. Rick's Plan WAS Proven Right

There's been a murky cloud hanging over Season 6 in the shape of thousands of flesh-ripping walkers being released from their cage in the very first episode of the season. There's been discussion over how necessary the move was, and whether it was a complete failure that has led to multiple deaths. But Episode 5 raised the issue and proved that Rick was in the right to put the plan into action. I've wondered whether just reinforcing the barriers and blockades would've been a better idea, but dealing with the problem early was probably the right idea, and the group acknowledged that without Rick's intervention, the full horde would've descended on Alexandria as opposed to half. It's great that people are finally coming round to Rick's mindset after a long period of strife.
