The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Things Episode 5 Got Right

8. Curveball Storyline

So now we know, Spencer is a jerk. A massive, massive jerk. His speech to prevent the Alexandrians from emptying their supply shelves was logical, down-to-Earth, sensible, reasonable and everything else you'd want it to be. Oh, it was also pure lies. Spencer was discovered sneaking booze out of the stockroom, then kept up his ways by munching a cheeky bit of food on the wall. He's slowly losing it, and if he's rapidly depleting Alexandria of food, are we going to see a whole new starvation plot-line imminently. They're going to need to find food somewhere, and with walkers at the walls, that may be harder than anticipated. It was subtle, but Episode 5 could've set up a huge long-term story.
