Dipping back into the sewers, how amazing were those sludge walkers? There's only so many types of walkers you can see roaming around the streets, but now that a lot of time has passed, the variations are becoming more apparent, with rotting, decomposing corpses becoming more prominent now. How the sludge walkers got down there to begin with will remain unexplained, but the flesh-rotting process has clearly been sped up by the conditions and they looked amazing. The practical effects team for TWD can be incredibly proud of how their creations turn out, making the walkers feel like a genuine presence. The extra touch of Maggie shoving her hands up the ribcage was gruesome but that's the point.
