6. Deanna's Brief Appearance

We saw Deanna hastily scribbling down a future for Alexandria several episodes ago, offering up guidelines for where crops, new defences, settlements and everything else could be placed within their walls. She also made a point of noting down the Latin: 'dolor hic tibi proderit olim' which translates as 'this pain will be useful to you'. She made a very brief appearance in Episode 7, but it was enough to provide a few seconds of hope and optimism that the settlement does have a future. Michonne looked pleased with Deanna's work, and you can bet those plans have some sort of role in the next episode, whether they're used to rebuild Alexandria or shown, blood-soaked and trampled in a deserted ghost town.
