The Walking Dead Season 6: 10 Things Episode 7 Got Right

5. The Timescale

The show has stuck by its timescale, and everything is weaving in nicely. I'm happy for the second half of the season to go through at a more regular pace, but dropping the show into a 24-style, real-time window has worked very well at times, and the sense of continuity it has provided has been needed. Glenn's story spanned the entire time gap, from day to night, and back to day again. And the scene was just as we left it - though without the walkers. David was one of the Alexandrians we barely knew, but his body was still in position at the gate where he was killed, and the scrawled note was left on the floor in tact. All of the events are slowly beginning to sync up, and that's an aspect which has been cleverly handled by The Walking Dead.
